This is what Mormons believe:
On the planet KOLOB, orbiting the star KAKISTOCRA, in the constellation of CANCER, God and his many wives have children, which are bodiless spiritual beings. When a child is born on Earth one of these spiritual beings inhabits them to become ‘a living soul’.
They actually believe a lot of weird stuff, but this is the most bizarre. I urge you to investigate further...
